Through out the film, Akbar ends up falling head over heels for Jodhaa during the climax of the film. Not only is this a great movie for people who enjoy watching Romantic love stories, but it is also a family and historical movie with a large amount of background knowlege about the Mughal Emperor and the love story between the Jodhaa and Akbar. However, the film "Jodah Akbar" also has several missing pieces and gaps in the love story. Furthermore, the film is based during a certain time period which was called the 'Mughal Emperor era' that started off in the 15th century. In other words, folktales were told during the 15th century . Essentially, people did not any other way to communicate with each other. Moreover, most South Asian parents, teachers, and would teach people about Akbar the great and Jodhaa's love story. Generations and generations would pass by and the folktale was still being passed on to everyone. People would often travel from village to village to explain the folktale to other people. Traveling from village to village was the best way to communicate during the 15th century. Also, sending letters was also popular but explaining folktales in person was another strategy in the 15th century. Following this further, during the 15th century, they did not have computers, proper stable books, or any sort of fancy technology .
The film "Jodha Akbar" is particularly about history and mainly focuses on the love story between Jodha and Akbar, rather than his battles and his life only. In addition, people still argue to this date that and question if Jodhaa's name was really Jodhaa? Because of popular oral communication about passing the folktale on to generations and generation, nobody really has proper evidence to what Jodhaa's real name is. Thus, missing pieces and gaps were noticed by many critics in this film. People are still having debates up to this date if the plot line for the film is precisely valid.
