Jodhaa Akbar

Traditional narrative stories are often told repeatedly to each and every generation. History plays a very important role in our lives because many of us have ancestors who could've possibly been a part of a historical time in history. The Mughal Emperor began in the 15th century and ruled the Indian subcontinent in 1526 and ended in 1707. During the the classical period which was the 16th century. Jalaluddin Mohammed Akbar who is also know as Akbar the great, was in power. The popular Bollywood film "Jodhaa Akbar" which was based on on real characters from the past such as Jalaluddin Akbar (Akbar the great) and Rajput princess Jodhaa. This film  strongly relates to oral communication because of the love story between Akbar and his wife Jodha who Akbar had married due to certain political issues. The love story between Jodhaa and Akbar has known to be passed on from generations to generations. Essentially, the film is about a love story between a Mughal man named Jalaluddin Akbar and a Rajput princess named Jodhaa. In addition, Akbar marries Jodhaa for political reasons.
Through out the film, Akbar ends up falling head over heels for Jodhaa during the climax of the film. Not only is this a great movie for people who enjoy watching Romantic love stories, but it is also a family and historical movie with a large amount of background knowlege about the Mughal Emperor and the love story between the Jodhaa and Akbar. However, the film "Jodah Akbar" also has several missing pieces and gaps in the love story. Furthermore, the film is based during a certain time period which was called the 'Mughal Emperor era' that started off in the 15th century. In other words, folktales were told during the 15th century . Essentially, people did not any other way to communicate with each other. Moreover, most South Asian parents, teachers, and would teach people about Akbar the great and Jodhaa's love story. Generations and generations would pass by and the folktale was still being passed on to everyone. People would often trave from village to village to explain the folktale  to other people. Traveling from village to village was the best way to communicate during the 15th century. Also sending letters was also popular but explaining  folktales in person was another strategy in the 15th century. Following this further,  during the 15th century, they did not have computers, proper stable books, or any sort of fancy technology .
The film "Jodha Akbar" is particularly about history and mainly focuses on the love story between Jodha and Akbar, rather than his battles and his life only. In addition, people still argue to this date that and question if Jodhaa's name was really Jodhaa? Because of popular oral communication about passing the folktale on to generations and generation, nobody really has proper evidence to what Jodhaa's real name is. Thus, missing pieces and gaps were noticed by many critics in this film. People are still having debates up to this date if the plot line for the film i precisely valid.
